ARLES, a tourist town which benefits from an exceptional geographic location at the door to the Camargue. Prestigious Roman and Medieval sites are here to be discovered in a radius of around 10km. Les Baux de Provence, Saint Remy, Eygalières, Montmajour, Fontvielle and the mountainous region of Les Alpilles are world renowned. Within a 35km radius there is the Mediterranean Sea with the beaches of Saintes Maries de la Mer; golf at Beauduc, Salin de Giraud as well as the reputed towns of Nimes and Avignon; the City of Popes. Boat excursions on the Rhone and horse riding in the Camargue are organised throughout the Summer months.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 SITUATION OF THE PROPERTY
The two apartments proposed for rent are only 1.5km from the centre of Arles where Roman vestiges appear at each turn. The town is well serviced with a swimming pool, an ancient open air theatre with numerous concerts, bull fighting and many traditional festivities and cultural entertainment.
The apartments are situated a few hundred metres away from the small village of Pont de Crau which offers many services such as good restaurants, bakeries, groceries, butchers, doctors, physiotherapists, pharmacy and medical assistance. A general hospital is located 10 minutes away as well as two big supermarkets.

 

 GARDEN


Each apartment has a private garden with a garden table and chairs. Each apartment has private garden access.

 

 

 

PARKING


Secure, alarmed parking behind an enclosed fence adjoining the property is available for use. A key to the gate of the enclosure will be presented for a fee of 9€ per week.

 

 

THE RIVER and Fishing

Access to the river is totally closed along the entire length of the property for the safety of children. Access to the river is made via a double locking gate which only adults are able to unlock.
